So, you worked hard in class tonight and need to re-fuel your body.
What we put into our bodies will translate into the energy we are able to put out.
It is important to eat the right foods in order to get the most of your training. Try to eat something no later than 60 minutes after class and drink lots of water.
Here is a short list of foods you can choose from:
Berries; especially Blueberries. These little guys are superfoods! Blueberries are high in antioxidants and high in Potassium and Vitamin C. They aid in quickly replenishing your body.
Eggs. Eggs are high in protein which helps with muscle building and repairing. Just one egg contains about 6g of protein and contains all the amino acids your body needs.
Grilled chicken breast with green leafy vegetables. Chicken Breast is lean protein, carbohydrates, and iron.
Green leafy vegetables. Full of minerals, fiber and vitamins. Here are a list of a few goodies: Spinach, Arugula and kale.
Whatever you do, don't skip a meal. Re-fuel your body.
I am so happy to have found USK. I finally found a program where my child is growing and learning. He is safe and has so much fun in Afterschool. He has not had this type of structure before and this program has been the best thing for him.
I know I don’t speak for myself when we say a hugely impactful ‘Thank you’. My son's improvements have been massive. You all helped instill confidence and push him to empower him with pride and strength. These moments will live on regardless of any future decisions he makes.
