I am so happy to have found USK. I finally found a program where my child is growing and learning. He is safe and has so much fun in Afterschool. He has not had this type of structure before and this program has been the best thing for him.
I know I don’t speak for myself when we say a hugely impactful ‘Thank you’. My son's improvements have been massive. You all helped instill confidence and push him to empower him with pride and strength. These moments will live on regardless of any future decisions he makes.
My son loves it at USK. He has grown a passion for Tang Soo Do and he has made great improvements at school and with his overall behavior. He is learning confidence and respect. Thank you for offering such a wonderful program to the community.
Hello, I’m usually not a big fan of sharing with the public but this is not normal times! I am so proud of USK as a company, as friends, and as a big part of our family. Everything y’all have done to stay connected with us and still provide us with classes has been amazing and so appreciated. It meant so much to me as a mom that y’all made the belt test happen, but even more to Amelia. She has worked so hard to earn her greenbelt and it has been a daily topic of conversation around her for months! Today to see the pride in her face as she tested for you and then read your email, it was truly wonderful. So again thank you so much for all that you do!

We have been very pleased with our experience at USK Martial arts. Our daughter, who is a type 1 diabetic, enjoys the chance to be active without the pressure of competition. She loves that each time she practices, she has the opportunity to reach a new goal. She has become disciplined in practicing her forms and terminology in hopes of reaching her next belt goal. She did not seem like the personality to enjoy structure, but she has thrived in the classes and is the first to yell "yes sir" or "yes ma'am". I was leary at first, but I have been won over. Master Amy has taken special attention to my daughter. Several times she has taken time to personally help achieve goals and encourage my daughter to try her hardest, going as far as to let me video tape a form lesson. We appreciate the extra 5 minutes that she gave us when she saw that we needed help. We have been pleased with all of the instructors, each adding something different to the studio. They are all kind, yet firm and have expectations that have pushed my daughter to try her hardest. We have had the pleasure of having Grand Master Kim teach as well, which I think is wonderful that he takes the time to even teach the white belts. He doesn't act "too good" but seems genuinly invested in the kids starting with good form and a passion for what they are learning and gives reasons behind why things need to be the way that they are. All in all, we have are very happy with our experience and look forward to seeing our daughter move up through her belts and meeting all of her goals and seeing the structure and discipline flow over into our home.
My girls and I began taking classes at USK Fort Mill in January of 2017. They came highly recommended and they have not dissapointed. Master Amy and Mister Howie are top notch instructors and more importantly, top notch people. Both of our girls have shown tremendous improvement in their behavior both at home and at school. Take the plunge if you are considering USK... your family will love it!
We toured & tried 4 studios before we found USK. Our son is on the spectrum and was diagnosed a little later than normal, so he really has to trust his teachers/coaches. From day 1 with USK it has made a world of difference in his behavior & confidence. He makes friends so much easier, and he loves Master Amy, Instructor Howie, & Miss Brianne so much. We are so grateful for all the instructors & their patience with our boy.
I highly recommend USK! My son started here in November. In that short time he has learned so much. When we did the orientation they talked about how it takes a village to raise a child. How USK wants to be a part of that village. As I watch their interaction with not only my son, but the other children at USK, I feel confident they truly meant that statement!

USK had been a wonderful experience for our son. We have noticed improvement in so many areas including but not limited to his ability to focus, motor skills, balance, and self-esteem. Most importantly we have been so appreciative of the way they focus on the importance of good character and values and the way in which they implement these principles with the kids. It’s something that is difficult to find in our world today but you will find it here. I can confidently say that I trust all of the staff at USK and would highly recommend them.
I have been in martial arts for several years, different schools through those years of training. USK Martial Arts sticks out above the rest. Class instruction is not just instructions “do this, do that” The instructors take the time to explain the what and why of each move, form. They’ll even take the extra time for one-on-one.
Everyone has his/her personal physical limitations. The instructors at USK Martial Arts understands that, will work with that individual to perform, even with the limitations.

USK Martial Arts is the dream school for any martial arts aspirant. My first ever meeting with Grand Master Kim in 2017 left ever lasting impression on the culture, expertise and guidance one is going to receive. Currently my son and I train there for TangSoodo and my daughter is joining us in 2 weeks. I train for Haidong Khum as well. Master Charles & Master Jenny are inspirational masters. Their simplicity, humble and focused approach is key factor that keeps all students love the art.

US-K is an amazing martial arts school! The leadership demands the best from their staff and students while encouraging a very welcoming atmosphere and it shows as soon as you walk in the door! Coming from the perspective where both me and my hubby have been practicing in the martial arts for over 20 years, I can definitely say that not always do you find a school that feels like home. It is also a good community for grown adults to push their bodies to the extreme. (yes, I too thought it was not for me. But I tried and I love it. If I who never did any PE in my whole life can do it. So can you) Lots of respect to Master Jenny and Master Charles. I made a lot of friends and found my best friend too.
I am a student here and I love it here. If you're looking for authentic martial arts this is the perfect place to learn! I've been to many schools and this is the best one I've been in. The Masters are all very professional and very friendly! The environment has a very refreshing also welcoming feel to it!
I personally LOVE this school. It's my second home and it is amazing to see students come in and grow in their training and mature as confident, disciplined human beings. I have never met anyone with a bad experience and hope people stay around long enough (more than one day) to see how special this martial arts studio is.
We have been extremely pleased with USK Martial Arts. Our son started when he was 3 and in just a year and a half his confidence and his ability to listen and follow instruction has grown tremendously. Master Jenny is great and has really pushed him to new levels without putting him in a situation to fall behind or feel bad about not excelling quickly. She has a great way with the kids that they really react positively to. Can't wait for our youngest to join
My 6-year old son has been taking lessons at USK for a year and LOVES it! It's his favorite sport and enrichment activity. The instructors are amazing and the program is professionally run. I highly recommend it!!
